My journey into the world of alternative education wasn't planned. It started from a place of necessity, navigating the complex landscape of traditional schooling with a neurodivergent child. Years of IEP meetings and advocating for my son’s unique needs led us to a crossroads: a decision to step away from the system and embrace learning on our own terms.

Long Story Short
What began as a daunting leap into homeschooling turned into a transformative path of discovery. Curious Together was born from these honest reflections and the desire to build a community for parents walking a similar path. It’s a space where we value the questions as much as the answers, celebrating every curious step toward a more personalized way of growing.

I love books—fiction and non-fiction. Becoming a homeschool parent has me visiting all the used bookstores, building our at-home library.
Mental Health
For over a decade, I have run my own private therapy practice. Dealing with the education system and raising neurodivergent kids while managing my own ADHD has been an incredibly eye-opening experience.
Dogs
We have a French bulldog and a pug. I’m a dog person and love the smash-face, snorting varieties most!
